Larry Coryell

Sad news. One of my guitar heroes from my youth has passed away at age 73.

Larry Coryell led the charge in pioneering the jazz fusion guitar. He was an amazing player.

Yes, the passing of a jazz giant – really sad at this news. I grew up listening to his material, and ‘found’ jazz on his Twin House LP from 1977 (With Belgian player Philip Catherine). You can tell how prolific he was – he has a search engine in his discography section of his website!
