Las Ramblas
Las Ramblas is a major tourist attraction in Barcelona. It is approximately 1.2 kilometres long. The main street, La Rambla, begins at Placa Catalunya to the north and ends at Port Veil to the south. La Rambla is primarily a pedestrian walkway with two narrow one-way traffic roads that run on either side of the central Ramblas boulevard.
The southern end of Las Ramblas can be a bit rough at night. We toured during the day and we did not walk all the way out to Port Veil. Instead, we diverted into dozens of alleyways that connect to the main boulevard.
