Castaway Cay
Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. We had two excursions to the island. And even though the weather turned nasty at the end of the second day, we thoroughly enjoyed the island experience.
The ship is always in view on Castaway Cay. Partly due to the overall size of the ship and also due to its dock position on this relatively small island.
The island itself is done up in typical Disney style.
We had a chance to ride the bicycle paths on the island.
The highlight of the ride is a climb up the observation tower which provides an overlook of the entire island. Here is a shot of Lorraine and Matthew on the tower.
The main attraction is the beach area. Here is a shot of our section of the beach followed up by a shot of father and son enjoying the sun and surf.
