Sanding The Cleaver Caster

Matthew continues to work on the Cleaver Caster electric guitar. Yesterday we spent time getting the body and the neck sanded prior to finishing. The neck will be treated with several coats of wipe-on Minwax poly finish. Matthew really wants a red guitar. We have a friend that owns a commercial paint finishing shop and he has agreed to let Matthew use his spray equipment. That will take place tomorrow. Below are some shots of the sanding process. Matthew used 150 grit for the first pass followed by 220 grit on the following four passes.
