Sink Falls

One of my favourite spots in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the Sinks. It has changed significantly over the years. Now a dedicated tourist stop with a paved parking lot and finished viewing area. A few years ago it was a primitive jut out. A fairly dangerous spot to shot at night.

Here is a picture of the falls itself.

There is a sign near the drop off area of the falls which warns of extreme danger. Which made the following shots a bit magical. Just as I had finished shooting the falls, something — or more precisely someone — fell over. I caught it all on my camera. Right place. Right time.
