Christmas is Coming
I know this to be true. Why? Because virtually all of my spare time is being applied to an upcoming Christmas concert scheduled for December 18th.
Song selection. Chart preparation. Arrangements. Practice. Multimedia development including motion graphics and video clips. Facilities. Scheduling rehearsals. Making arrangements for sound and lighting gear. Developing the creatives for posters and flyers.
And somehow, this week-end, most everything seems to be done. I have a couple of charts to tidy up and a few minor things to clean up with the multimedia production, but by and large everything seems to be in pretty good order.
Christmas tends to be a crazy time of year with a lot going on. I don’t make things any easier by producing a concert right in the middle of the season. Having said that, I am quite looking forward to the event.
