Context Shift

Today marks the end of the vacation time. Not that it was a vacation. Most of the time was spent getting ready for the wedding and then recovering from the big day. We stayed at home. And we did not plan any events in particular. Partly due to family being with us until Tuesday. On Wednesday, I remembered that I will be playing a concert in two weeks and that I needed to prepare for that event. 25 songs. I was also behind on a number of other projects and I began my plan of attack. Work resumes tomorrow and there is a lot on the go there as well. Reality has set back in. There is no time for vacations. Life is busy.

Aside from the “life is busy” stuff, I have been thinking about my daughter a lot over the past week.

I miss her.
