2001: A Space Odyssey Remixed

I was able to get hold of the newly remixed version of 2001: A Space Odyssey. However, with the recent economic downturn, the project’s budget for the audio remix was cut dramatically. The original audio masters were distressed and the soundtracks had to be re-recorded for the surround sound mix.

For some reason the major symphonic orchestras were unwilling to record the tracks for free. Admittedly, this version has a slightly different interpretation of the Blue Danube waltz. But it seems to work well with this segment of the movie.
