Remote Session Day 2
Well, it took a few hours, but I did manage to get my core Pro Tools HD2 system out of the studio this morning. We shipped it over to the recital hall in Guelph and it only took me about an hour to get the system up and running.
The HD rig worked like a charm. We tracked six songs today. A very productive session.
Mind you, I was a bit nervous taking the rig out on the road. All told, just in the HD hardware and software, I was lugging about $30,000 dollars worth of gear. Needless to say, I was very particular about moving the unit.
The fun part will be reinstalling the system back into my studio.
Here are a few more photos from the session.
Is this a glass of white wine I see in the foreground between the instrument cases? Always good to get into some Christmas cheer early I suppose…
Just water. It was a working session so I needed to make sure that the musicians stayed alert 🙂
