The Best in 2005
PC World announced the best 100 products for 2005. The top 3: Firefox, Gmail, and Mac OS X Version 10.4 (Tiger).
Microsoft was mentioned once. Number 47. For Windows Media Player 10. Apple iTunes was Number 37.
No xbox 360 on their top 100 list which is a bit of a surprise to me. I guess that’s because no one can buy one. Even Steve Ballmer, Microsoft’s chief executive officer, can’t get one. Ballmer’s children have yet to get an xbox 360. Sarbanes-Oxley rules prevent Ballmer from getting a free console so he has to get out and line up like the rest of us. The shortages are expected to continue for months.
I told Steve that he could always drop by my place if he would like to play the xbox 360.
Probably because it is ‘personal computing magazine’ .. It did make my latest addition of Pop Sci .. Best of 2005
