It is that time of year. Time to begin the process of cleaning up the XP machines around the house. With all of the dribbleware, the machines start to slow down and, between rootkits, spyware, and countless other hacks and kludges, I am often forced to start the new year with a clean slate. Or a new machine.
The new machine in my home office will be a Mac.
Regardless, I still have lots of Wintel machines. And the following book comes in handy. I am surprised, though, at its length. 637 pages of Windows XP annoyances seems a bit thin to me.
Some useful tips here.
