One Fine Morning

We have made the trek to Toronto’s CNE almost every year since the late 1970’s. I’m not sure why. The CNE always seems a bit worn out. Not particularly clean. Not particularly compelling. And yet we always seem to get great weather and we have some fun memories. The food pavillion, the kids’ rides, the shopping bazaars and the open air experiences.

There was a neat booth in one of the shopping bazaars this year. They offered all sorts of small-sized model guitars: Strats, Les Pauls, Flying V’s. And they offered dish bowls made out of old vinyl records. They also had clocks from old LP covers.

So I looked through the LP covers. And they had the cover for one of the Lighthouse albums. As some of you know, we have been working on a project in the studio for Skip Prokop. I could not resist. I bought the One Fine Morning clock.

It currently hangs on our kitchen wall.
