Recording Studios With Character

I received quite a bit of feedback on a recent post highlighting a recording studio with character. Here is another one. The Dutch Oven.

I particularly like the dual purpose overdub room in the second photo. The band can eat while the others record. All at the same time. I wonder if they edit out the chewing noises during the quiet passages?

I honestly don’t think they are eating per-say but that they are actually “playing the pizza” it’s an instrument that takes years to develop this kind of skill. You should really look into it.

    Hello Ann,

Thank you for posting. I could not make out all the details in the bottom picture but it looks like they had a lot of food on that table. And is that toilet paper lurking underneath the table?

    😉

    Hey Steve,

One of the pizza eaters is reading a book. I did zoom in on the original photo and the book is titled: “Pizza Playing for Dummies”.

I particularly like the Telephone Delivery system. Music to my ears

“Output to CD-R or DAT or cassette or I can call your answering machine and leave it on there.”

PS, Yes it is half an hour past midnight.
