March Break
We will be heading out shortly to visit my daughter. She is attending the University of Waterloo. My oldest son went to visit her Sunday evening and we will be bringing him back home today.
I took the week off to spend time with family and to catch up on a few odds and ends. And, I have really had a great time so far. Amongst the non-work related work I redesigned our church’s website. This is the third iteration of the site. I moved it to XHTML and CSS. I haven’t validated all the pages so far but certainly the pages I have tested validate to W3C XHTML 1.0 strict compliant. The CSS also validates. A much, much cleaner presentation. And the code is also vastly improved. Simpler, and easier to maintain.
I have also been reading a couple of books. I am trying to finish Diamond’s book Collapse. And, for pleasure, I have been reading Grisham’s latest novel The Broker.
And, any chance I get, I am playing my new Taylor acoustic guitar. What a wonderful sounding instrument.
Church site looks good – nice & clean.
Taylor’s ARE fantastic instruments – played a Godin Multiac yet? Great electronics….
Haven’t tried the Godin. I played the Taylor live last week and ran it through a Fender Acoustasonic Jr DSP amp direct out to the house. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Neve designed Taylor Expression System performed. And, no feedback! How times have changed 😉
