Well, my sincere apologies for not getting back to you sooner. The website was involved in a wee bit of a mess due to migration issues and there was some temporary loss of data which also included a temporary loss of your comment. I sure hope that you were able to resolve your rental car and that you were able to enjoy the wonderful area in and around San Francisco. My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Richard

You can see how crowded it is in the downtown core. Not sure what we would do without that traffic light. I think the city is going to add another one near the highway — perhaps even next year!

Enjoyed visiting your weblog- good stuff! The D’Pergo piece was what caught my eye- I bought a used one from Stefan and must say that, for one who plays clean at least 85% of the time, there is NOTHING that I have found that can touch it- hands down. I’m very particular about tone and playability,and have owned lots and lots of high-end gear, much of which I gladly sold so as to purchase my S-style guitar. If you’ve never played one, brother, you will be amazed at what you find- may God bless you on your search for tonal excellence!!

Probably even a bit worse as the 1265 constitutes gross and not net caloric intake. I was a tad under 900 due to exercise.

I will be hovering around 1300 – 1700 net calories over the next few weeks. I usually trim down to get to my seasonal power-to-weight ratio for the outdoor riding. Excess body weight is the cyclist’s enemy as it wastes energy, slows me down and affects performance and stresses joints.

Most of what I am doing for the next few weeks will target body fat and protect muscle mass. Even though the calorie count is low, I will only do that for a few weeks. I keep the protein count higher to minimize muscle loss.

Might see an overall loss of 5 to 6 pounds over the four week period. Any more than that and I will be taking in a few more vendor lunches
