iPad is Bad

Lots of negative perspectives, like this one, concerning the iPad. You also get this type of noise from Gizmodo. Makes you wonder why anyone would even bother making a tablet. Clearly, there is no market.

This is good news. Means I won’t have to wait in line to get mine. I’ll be getting the loaded version… the maxi pad, if you will. I for one am looking forward to it.

“There are no plans to make a tablet,” Jobs was quoted saying to Mossberg. “It turns out people want keyboards. … We look at the tablet, and we think it is going to fail.”

And seven years ago, Jobs was right. Microsoft tried to get a tablet going back then and it never caught on. Time and technology has changed. I suspect the iPad will do well for the folks at Apple. I am looking forward to giving one a workout.
