Amnesty

Digidesign was good enough to provide me amnesty. It had taken me so long to move from Pro Tools 6.x to 7.x that they offered me the upgrade to 7.2 from 7.1.
Fortunately, a minor upgrade as all the plugins that I upgraded are approved on 7.2.
A fun experience. And one reason why I don’t chase the Pro Tools upgrades too closely. A fragile ecosystem with many moving parts.
A strange sense of satisfaction though. It seemed like I moved a mountain over the week-end. I guess I did. I moved billions of bits over the Internet to my studio computer.
