Dolphins, Water, AIDS

An Ipsos Reid survey, conducted for the Muttart Foundation, found that churches are less trusted than charities that do work for animals, the environment and social services.

One-third of Canadians have little or no trust in church fundraising. The full report on the Canadian view of charities can be downloaded here.

I downloaded the full report and checked it out. It’s a sad state of affairs for churches, according to the report. At least, sad when compared to other organizations that have more trust. Unfortunately there are several factors that likely go into the distrust of churches.

I found the information on fundraising to be of particular interest. It will contribute to shaping my own thoughts on fundraising for the future.

Thanks for the info.
